Infant Photos
Looking for Infant Photos?
I specialize in newborn/infants, with training in transitional posing. This technique is imperative for Infant Photos to be accomplished. Making small changes in their position and wardrobe can keep Baby happily sleeping.
Did you miss your “Two week window” for a newborn photo session? You are not too late for Infant Photos!
Many newborn photographers refuse to photograph infants. They will urge you to wait until Baby hits milestones. Trust me, they know you missed the 2-week window… they just refuse to do infants!
Why do Infant Photos take longer than newborn sessions?
- Babies stay awake for longer periods of time.
- It is harder to get them to sleep.
- More sensitive to touch so they wake easily.
- Used to being “out of the womb,” so many dislike being wrapped.
- They sleep stretched out, very hard to pose.
- If you can tuck them in a prop they often “jerk” and waken, can be dangerous in some props!
- Feed more often, which leads to peeing and pooping more, more diaper “blow outs.”
- Many will have reflux, can’t be laid down right after feeding.
Bring me your baby, I love a good challenge! I understand these are all parts of being a baby. It is nobody’s fault that it’s harder and takes longer. It should never be a reason to miss such a wonderful photo opportunity!
Rest easy knowing that I am certified in newborn/infant photo safety. I am skilled in transitional posing techniques and use specific poses for babies with reflux and other health concerns. I know infant sessions take longer, I’m good with that.

We had a wonderful experience with Tracy for infant photography! She truly exceeded our expectations with her patience and the way she comforted our baby. She is not only skilled in photography but deeply passionate about capturing precious moments. Her creativity shines through in every detail, from the charming props she selects to the thoughtful setups she creates. I cannot recommend her enough for newborn or infant photography. Her professionalism and dedication are evident in every shot she takes. She is easy-going, making the entire session relaxed and enjoyable. I'm eagerly anticipating the final photos and family photography, but I have no doubt they will be stunning, given her talent and commitment to excellence
*Please note – the perfect “sleepy poses” are harder to achieve the longer the baby is “out of the womb.” We are still able to get amazing images, “perfectly posed” may not be possible with your Little One. We can talk more in depth about it in your Free Consultation!
