Composites – creating images from scratch using “layers.” Layers will help to create a 3d effect by allowing you to “put” one image behind another (like the leaves in front of Baby’s face and hands.)
They also allow special effects to be created by “slightly erasing” part of the image (like the frog and honey pot) which gives the illusion that they are under water.
Layers also gave me the ability to create reflections in the water!
