Newborn Photo Safety
Would you get your hair cut from someone who was not trained,
but owns a pair of scissors?
Nope!
Unfortunately, there is nothing stopping anyone from becoming a Newborn Photographer. There is no “rule” that states we should be trained in handling babies… There should be!
While you are on your journey to find a photographer that best meets your needs… Please be certain they have a certification in Newborn Photo Safety and that they are insured!
Safety is my #1 priority, it should be yours too.

Tracy is wonderful to work with! She takes all precautions possible to keep your newborn safe and also took her time with us. As a result, she captured some amazing photos that we absolutely love. Our newborn was a bit fussy during the process and Tracy was very patient and did her best to calm our little one. Feedings and changing diapers during the photo shoot was never a problem and we even learned some baby calming tricks from her! I highly recommend Tracy and we will be reaching out in the future if we need any more pictures taken.
